2025 Program information
Friday night classes will be limited to level 1 and 2. Saturday program will be level 1-4.
Level Descriptions:
Level 1-brand new skier
Level 2-Skier has been on a chairlift, can balance on skis, knows how to start and stop, can snowplow
Level 3-Skier is able to link turns and is comfortable on all green runs
Level 4-Skier is mostly parallel skiing and is comfortable on green and blue runs
*Please note we are not taking skiing students above level 4.
Classes are first come, and dependent on the amount of volunteer instructors.
Students must provide their own lift tickets and equipment.
Membership is required prior to the start of the program.
Sign-ups are done online through our website. Will open December 1st, 2023.
We ask that students attend as many classes as possible. We understand life happens, however, missing multiple classes could lead to your student being excused from the program.
ELIGIBILITY & COST:
Ages 5-12
Beginner through intermediate levels.
Membership cost is $50.00 for the family.
CLASS INFORMATION:
Classes will be held Friday, 5:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday 11am-1pm
Classes will run January 3rd and 4th, 2025-February 28th and March 1st, 2025
We will have no classes President’s Day Weekend (February 14th and 15th)
The meeting spot is on the left side of chair 6 (facing uphill), except level 1 students, which meet on the left side of the magic carpet.
Students should be ready with equipment and lift tickets at class start time.
We recommend being 10 minutes early, classes leave right at start time.
Class assignments are posted on our website.
Students and instructors will return to the meeting place and parents should meet them at 7:30pm, Friday and 1pm, Saturday.
If your child will be unable to attend a class, please let the instructor know prior to that day's lesson.
SAFETY:
It is the parents' responsibility to be sure that the child's equipment has been properly fitted and adjusted safely prior to the first class and thereafter as necessary. The child should have warm clothing for cold weather, i.e. warm coat, pants, helmet, gloves, scarf/buff and goggles. Students must wear properly fitted ski helmets.
We will not be providing hot cocoa this year. Your child is welcome to bring a snack to have during the break time.
